Companion bird portraits make a wonderful birthday, holiday, or anniversary gift for the bird-lover in your life. Portrait sessions are available by appointment in our specialized studio and on location at your home or aviary.
A studio portrait session lasts for at least one hour and can often take up to two hours, depending on how comfortable your bird is in an unknown environment. The creative fee for a studio session starts at $150. A location portrait session takes more time due to the lighting set-up time required, the time to break down the photographic equipment, and the travel time to and from the specific location. The creative fee for a location session starts at $300. The portrait session creative fee is charged for time spent in the studio and/or on location. It includes the cost for shooting two rolls of film, the time for designing your portrait order, and time for completing the print order. The portrait session creative fee is for producing the images and does not include any photographic prints.

We offer over a dozen natural wood posing perches (sanitized after each use) and many different backdrops that simulate an outdoor environment. The optional use of fresh greenery in the scene will add stunning realism to an indoor studio portrait.
Print prices are based on the size of the photographic print. We offer a wide variety of photographic print surfaces, which range from high gloss photo papers to heavyweight watercolor papers. Each paper surface is unique and will beautifully reproduce your bird's colors and details.
Photographic prints may also be ordered from any image that appears on the website. All photographs are custom-printed at the time of order to your specifications. Print prices are as follows and include your choice of high gloss photo paper, semi-gloss photo paper, parchment, textured watercolor paper, and smooth watercolor paper:
